Recommended Protein Sources

Seekers of protein! Open your eyes, sharpen your ears, and follow the voice within! The time has come to embark on our carnivorous journey!

Various protein-rich foods including lamb meat, venison, ostrich, bison, chicken breast, scallops, liver, and eggs, displayed in a dynamic and exaggerated JOJO style with dramatic lighting and bold colors, featuring energy lines and onomatopoeia like 'ZAP!' and 'BAM!'

First, let's talk about lamb meat. Rich in carnitine, this meat is essential for fat metabolism, making it a must-have during dieting. Carnitine helps transport fatty acids into the mitochondria, and while it can be synthesized in the body from lysine and methionine, this ability diminishes with age. Hence, lamb is a crucial source of carnitine. But there is an even greater source: venison! Venison contains 2.44 times more carnitine than lamb, making it the savior of dieters.

Next in line is the ostrich, followed by horse meat, and then lamb. These meats are available in stores and can be easily purchased online. I personally enjoy products from "Ostrich Kingdom," though there might be some eyebrow-raising stories surrounding it. Regardless, ostrich, venison, and lamb are exceptional choices for their nutritional value.

Now, what about buffalo? While not commonly eaten in Japan, buffalo meat is popular in the United States. Interestingly, what Americans call buffalo is actually bison. Bison, once on the brink of extinction, has made a comeback and is now widely raised for meat. Bison meat, often grass-fed and free of antibiotics and hormones, is exceptionally healthy. It is low in fat and rich in zinc, iron, and selenium, making it a nutritional powerhouse.

Chicken breast is next, with its secret weapon: carnosine. Carnosine offers a range of benefits, including buffering lactic acid, providing relaxation effects, preventing glycation, and improving cognitive function. Consuming chicken breast is an efficient way to intake carnosine, especially as beta-alanine supplements become more common in Japan.

Then, there are scallops. Rich in taurine and glycine, scallops promote fat loss, detoxification, immune enhancement, and testosterone elevation. Additionally, scallops contain succinic acid, which activates brown fat cells and aids in weight loss.

For those aiming to bulk up, liver and eggs are highly recommended. These contain arachidonic acid, which is excellent for muscle growth. Arachidonic acid, found in pork liver and egg yolks, increases testosterone and promotes muscle development. It also converts to anandamide, enhancing working memory and providing relaxation, motivation, and happiness.

The quest for protein never ends. To those who continue the adventure, seize these foods and gain health and strength!
